The Financial analysis course deals with the valuation of firms.

Teaching objectives

The Financial analysis course will be the opportunity to work on key concepts in finance: the discounting cash flows (DCF) method and its application to the valuation of the investment, debt and equity of the firm.

Learning goals

The Financial analysis course will allow you to learn in practice the following points of finance:

• The difference between the present value (PV) and the net present value (NPV) and the interpretation of these variables


• The limits of use of the internal rate of return (IRR)
